The candle holders have been hand cut using a method called 'jali cut' or lattice work by North Indian artisans who are renowned for fashioning iron and myriad metals into beautiful creations. While working with iron, the very first step is the shaping of the material. Different cutting, carving, and casting techniques are used in multiple combinations as per the intended design. The resultant skeleton is worked upon by painting, polishing, and further detailing. The final product is a handmade, artisanal, and sturdy metal piece that stands the test of time.
