Floral Countryside Tasselled Handloom Cotton Throw

This spectacular floral-themed cotton throw, handwoven on a wooden loom to utter perfection by proficient craftspeople in North India. It takes anywhere between a few days to a couple of weeks to create one such throw! The creation process can be unhurried as compared to its machine-made equivalent; however, the final product bears that unique artisanal exclusivity. First, a master craftsman creates a blueprint of the design, indicating the colours and layout, and then weaves magic. Handweaving is a craft to reckon with as it requires meticulous rhythm and coordination and often, sheer touch  to judge the yarn.
